Inflatable
The corn maze
It is inflatable, so kids bounce their way through instead of wandering for forty minutes. Most of them go through more than once.
Reston, Virginia · Our 50th fall
Train rides, moon bounces, farm animals and cider donuts made on site — twelve days of fall at the garden market Reston families have been coming to since 1976.
What's out there
No hay rides, no pony, and the corn maze is inflatable. Here is the real list, so you know exactly what you are buying.

Inflatable
It is inflatable, so kids bounce their way through instead of wandering for forty minutes. Most of them go through more than once.

Farm animals
The animals are used to small hands and happy to be fed. For most families it is the first stop and the last.

Two of each
Two slides and two moon bounces, side by side. Plan on losing an hour here, because most families do.

Additional fee
Face painting and balloon art on the lot, so your kid leaves as a tiger or a dragon. Priced separately at the stand.
Music plays all afternoon, and there is a hoop for the older kids who have decided they are done with moon bounces.

Slow on purpose
A slow loop around the farm, gentle enough for the youngest riders. It is the most photographed thing we own.
From the bakery
Trays come out warm all day long. There is pumpkin pie and pumpkin loaf too, and you can order ahead for pickup so you are not waiting in line with a tired kid.

Lunch, handled
Arepas pressed to order, beef empanadas, Colombian hot dogs and loaded fries. Most of the menu is gluten free, and there is a kids menu.
Pick a day
Every ticket is good for one date, so choose your day when you buy. The Fest runs weekends only — the market and garden center are open every day, all season.

Good to know
The market and the garden center are open 9am to 6pm, every single day, free to walk into, all year round. The ticket is only for the Fest area — the rides, the bounces, the animals. If you have come for mums and a pie, just come in.
Every child three and older needs one, and every adult coming in with them needs one too. Children two and under are free.
The Fest is built for families, so adults cannot enter the Fest area without a child. You are welcome in the market and garden center any day, no ticket.
Every ticket is good for a single date, so pick your day when you buy. There is a season pass if you plan to come back.
