To mark the one year anniversary of the Reston Farm Market’s ownership, Bonita and Lowell Weinstein are ushering in autumn with a fun filled family Fall Festival, Saturday, Sept. 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The day will include an array of activities including food trucks, petting zoo, face painting and enjoying fall décor including choosing the best pumpkin for the annual Halloween Jack-o-lantern. The Weinstein’s are committed to returning the Reston Farm Market to the family destination many locals remember from years ago. Their successful business, Seasonal Celebrations, a farm to market service, led them to the more permanent location, and one that they are excited to invite the community to return to regularly with events and seasonal offerings. “We are excited to celebrate our first anniversary with the community and to share the restoration of the Reston Farm Market,” said Bonita. We take pride in being a small, local family business that is locally sourced and community focused.”.

The event will feature a range of activities, including several moon bounces, a petting zoo, the Reston Farm Market Express for both adults and children to ride, balloon and face painting artist as well as a magician. The Market will offer the best seasonal products available for purchase, ranging from chrysanthemums, pansies, fresh produce, natural jams, organic honey, and farm-fresh goodies and local apple cider.
