Our 50th fall in Reston. The Fest opens September 26.
Everything on the lot
Here's what's set up on the lot for Fest weekends.
The train
A slow loop around the farm, and for a lot of kids it's the reason they came.
Inflatable corn maze
Big enough to disappear into for a while, with soft walls so nobody gets hurt finding their way out.
The petting zoo
Goats and chickens, close enough to pet and patient enough to let them.
Two slides, two moon bounces
Where most of the energy goes, and where they'll want to stay longest.
Face painting and balloons
A face painter and a balloon artist are on site through the afternoon.
Face painting and balloons are available for an additional fee.
Music and basketball
A DJ playing through the day, and a hoop for the older kids.
Cider donuts
Fried on site all season long. Best warm, straight from the counter.
Order Donuts Ahead
Six weekends
The Fest runs weekends only. The market and garden center are open every day, all season.
If we close for weather, your ticket moves to another day. Details below.
Two sets of hours
The Fest and the market keep different hours, and they are easy to mix up.
Event days only
Every day, all season long
Bring the little ones
The rides, the bounces and the animals are all built for roughly ages two to ten. Older kids and teenagers tend to lose interest quickly, and we would rather say so here than have you find out at the gate.
Plan on about two hours. Let them run it off, get something warm, and walk back through the greenhouse on your way out.
A look around
Good to know
Who needs a ticket
Everyone three and older needs a ticket. Children two and under are free, and the adult bringing them still needs one.
If it rains
We make the call by 7pm the night before. If we close, we'll email you to choose another date and your ticket stays good. We don't offer refunds, but purchase protection is available at checkout.
Buying online
Online sales close at 3pm on each event day.
Hours
The Fest runs 10 to 5. The market and garden center are open 9 to 6, every day.
