Sunbeckia takes the familiar Black-Eyed Susan shape and turns the size and color all the way up. These 9-inch pots are already full and blooming, with four colors that run from clear golden yellow to deep cherry red and toasted caramel.
Pick the one that fits your porch — or mix two and let them do the work together. ‘Ophelia’ is sunny gold, ‘Graffiti Caramel’ is warm peach and bronze, ‘Graffiti Cherry’ runs deep cherry red, and ‘Graffiti Scarlet’ lands somewhere between fire and fall leaves. Every one brings the same oversized flowers and long summer-to-fall show.
Easy rule for our Northern Virginia gardens: give it full sun, well-drained soil, and regular water while it settles in. Sunbeckia is grown here as a seasonal annual, so use it for instant color in a patio pot or sunny bed through fall — not as a plant you need to wait on.
