Carpet Angel is the first true groundcover Shasta daisy — instead of reaching up, it stays low and spreads into a living carpet of crisp white.

The blooms are the showstopper: big 3-inch pure-white flowers with a frilly second ruff tucked inside, hovering over dark green foliage. It branches like crazy, so you get more stems, more flowers, and a longer show from spring straight into summer — there's a reason it's an All-America Selections winner.

And it earns its spot here in Northern Virginia: hardy from zone 4 to 10, so in our 7b it's a true perennial that comes back for you every year. Give it full sun and well-drained soil, snip the spent blooms now and then, and it'll knit into a 6-inch-tall, 20-inch-wide mat of white — the brightener that makes every color around it pop along a path or border.
