Lowell Weinstein, Chief Donut Taster

Lowell got his start with plants and gardening by establishing and operating seasonal garden center pop-ups in the northern Virginia area. When the retiring owner of Reston Farm Market approached him with the opportunity to purchase the business and establish a permanent garden center, Lowell heartily said “YES!”

Lowell realized that while the long-standing establishment’s attraction had waned over the years, it had potential to be a treasured community staple. Once under with Weinstein family’s ownership, Lowell and his family brought their know-how and resources to rebuild it, now as Reston Farm Garden Market. 

Along with being the visionary behind our business, Lowell continues to make improvements to the grounds, bring in beautiful and in-demand plants and garden products, source local and regionally-produced food, put on family-friendly events, and build a team of knowledgeable and friendly staff.

His favorite thing at the Garden Market? Having a team that helps enhance and bring his vision to life. And, of course, quality-testing our fresh-baked donuts.

Isaiah Weinstein, Operations Director

Isaiah has been an integral part of the Garden Market since the beginning, and is an enthusiastic team leader. He oversees and manages operations for our primary location as well as our Reston Farm Neighborhood Garden Markets, putting his people skills, organizational skills, strategy skills and carpentry skills to work. Isaiah’s superpower is paying extra attention to the details and keeping us on track.

His favorite thing at the Garden Market? Watching families enjoy all we have to offer.
